He Saw the Future of Telecom โ and Built It Himself
In the early 2000s, Darcy Primrose was working as Director of Research and Development for a Brockville telecom company when he encountered Voice over Internet Protocol at a tradeshow. He knew immediately it was going to change everything.
For two years, Darcy pushed his employer to embrace VoIP. They weren't ready. So in 2002, he made a leap of faith โ left his position and founded Voice2Net to bring the technology to Eastern Ontario on his own terms.
A self-taught software developer with over 30 years of hands-on experience, Darcy's technical ability runs deep. His career has always been at the forefront of telecom โ from R&D and network design through to VoIP infrastructure and modern hosted PBX platforms. That depth means Voice2Net can solve problems most providers simply can't.
More than two decades later, Voice2Net has completed over 2,000 business and residential deployments, grown to serve customers across Canada, and remains privately owned and operated out of Eastern Ontario โ still driven by the same conviction that started it all.
It's the way telecom's going to go โ so I'm just going to give it a shot.
